1/ So remember how the FBI launched the entire Trump-Russia probe based on the ridiculous predicate that a low-level unpaid volunteer had "suggested the Trump team had received some kind of suggestion from Russia" that it could release some kind of "unclear" information?
2/ Now we learn that FBI too didn't even see that predicate as legit. Asked why FBI didn't seek a FISA on Papadopoulos -- i.e. the predicate -- McCabe said his "comment didn't particularly indicate that he was the person that had had -- that was interacting with the Russians."
3/ If the FBI believes that Papadopoulos' "comment didn't particularly indicate that he was the person that was interacting with the Russians" -- then why did it open & continue its entire Trump-Russia investigation based on that comment?
