There is just so much suffering in this story. The animals. The workers. Everything the virus itself has done, given that it came from the meat trade. It's just suffering on suffering on suffering. vox.com/recode/2020/5/…
I also hate that we use the word "euthanizing" for killing millions of animals for no reason. We aren't killing them to spare their suffering. We're killing them because letting them live out their lives in peace doesn't fit these companies' bottom lines.
