Is there anyone doing content about old games where they seek out weird and interesting stuff worth looking at now? Every "retro" publication and best-of is like "I had this when I was a kid, 9/10" and it's like a bad Spectrum port of an arcade game you can just play on MAME
Amiga in particular is like this, every best of list is like "Monkey Island, mate" and it's the ugly ass version where they crunched the 256 color remake down to 32. We all got DOSBox now man, what are the AMIGA games I should play
What I want is like "Best Amiga games for people who have all the other systems too" and "Spectrum games that a human might actually enjoy right now if they played it for the first time"
As soon as I see Shadow of the Beast in the top ten I shoot a click missile on the back button
