Al-Anbiyā’ means the prophets - because this surah mentions 16 prophets by name. No other Surah mentions this many prophets other than surah An’aam. #YQGems

This surah can be divided into 4 sections:

Introduction: verses 1-5
Part 1: verses 6-47 discussing key theological arguments used by the mushrikoon and refuting of them
Part 2: verses 48-96 which are stories about the prophets
Conclusion: verses 97-112

We need to ask ourselves, how prepared are we for judgement day?

Allah has sent prophets, messengers, books to warn mankind to prepare for the day of judgement.

Allah is commanding us, if you don’t know, ask the specialists.

Even though this is meant for the people of Makkah, this is applicable to us all. Go to the people of knowledge, the specialists of knowledge.

If anyone would have been granted an eternal life it would have been prophet Muhammad SAWS, but Allah did not grant it so why do some people behave as though they are going to live forever?

Every soul shall taste death.

Every single situation we find ourselves in, it is a test from Allah (whether it is something we consider good or bad).

All of the messengers of the book have come with the same message. Believe in one God and worship Him only.

In the following of the Quran, will be your dhikr, your izzah, your glory will come in this world and in the hereafter by adhering to the message of the Quran.

V. 16-17 we didn’t create these heavens and earth, and all that is in between for amusement.

This creation has a purpose, a higher goal.

We do not prove the truth of the Quran via its conformity to modern scientific interpretations.

The Quran is proven and the truth of the Quran stands on its own merit.

We have to be very careful of not linking the Quran to a fallible human philosophical enterprise or paradigm.

Science is the human’s attempt to understand the creation of Allah and the interpretation could sometimes be correct and sometimes not.

The truth is so clear, falsehood does not have any chance #YQGems

The evidences for Allah’s existence and the evidence for the truth of Islam are so self-evident that any sincere person will be guided to the truth #YQGems

This surah contains the most detailed story about prophet Ibrahīm AS and the story of when he was a young boy and he destroyed the idols

Also the story of Dawud AS and Suleiman AS and the judgement of the issue between the two farmers regarding their livestock and crops

Story of Ayoub AS complained to Allah. He appealed to the mercy of Allah.

Dua’a of Yunus AS when he found himself in the whale (he was punished by Allah SWT for turning his back on his people)

Any Muslim that uses this dua’a (the dua’a of Yunus AS) in a time or situation (in distress or grief) Allah SWT will respond to him

End of surah about judgement day.

In the middle of describing the punishments, (v. 101) Allah SWT says: the righteous amongst my servants, they will be far removed from all of this. They will not even hear the hissing of the fire. They will be protected by Allah SWT

The only way to obtain the rahma of Allah in this world is to follow the one who Allah sent to be rahmat ul lil al ameen
