Acne u jenis merah- merah, atau nmpk macam ada nanah kat dalam? Ada mata, boleh pecahkan jerawat tu? Then ur acne is more hormonal, its associated with hormones, stress, what you eat.
Kalau u punya jerawat atau bumps tu jenis kecik je, tak rasa mcm dia ada mata, atau nanah di dalam, tak merah sangat, then its more likely a comedone ataupun clogged pores. This is related to skincare products. Mesti ada comedogenic ingredient atau u tak cleanse after makeup.
1. Hormonal acne - this is related to internal factors, or easy to say, inflammation (keradangan). Apa yang boleh menyebabkan keradangan dalam badan, boleh kelihatan sebagai jerawat di kulit.
Food - certain makanan yang boleh meningkatkan keradangan dalam badan antaranya, sugary food, dairy food and processed food.
1. Sugary food means those food/ drink that is sweet AND those that is not sweet but if eaten, will later be converted to sugar in the body (eg. Carbohydrates)
2. Dairy products include milk, cheese, ghee, butter, yogurt AND food that are derived from these eg. cake & bread (from butter)
3. Processed food include fast food, others eg. sausages, nugget. Modern chicken yang modified genetically atau dibesarkan dengan growth hormones pun termasuk kategori ini.

So untuk tackle internal triggers of acne,
1. Reduce these 3 food or drinks
2. Increase food high in anti oxidants, anti inflammatory or high in ORAC (oxygen radical absportion capacity)
