The owner of #FortWorth franchise just moved here from South Africa last year. She and her family moved b/c after visiting her best friend a year ago, she'd never felt so safe walking outside.
She said she still pinches herself that she can walk around town with zero fear. Her 13 & 14 y/o's are just now realizing they can go outside without needing to be scared.
She said America is the dream she's always wanted and pinches herself every morning that it came true.
Back home, unemployment is 40%. There is no printing of money. There is no PPP. There is no government assistance. Crime is at all-time highs. Thousands of people wait daily to collect food from.....
American Non-Profits who provided food for hundreds of thousands of people daily. She said there is no country more generous or thoughtful than the USA.
I needed this. Another reminder that the American Dream is stronger than ever.
I can't wait to bring her all of my business!

Fort has been all-in on acquiring Class B Industrial (CBI) since 2016.
Here's why in no particular order:
1. By nature of the era (70's - 90's) it was built, it is infill and surrounded by mature infrastructure. Transportation systems, major arteries, homes, commercial, hospitals, universities, etc.
One can’t over estimate the value of mature infrastructure surrounding a property.
2. Companies continue to optimize for being close to their customer so they can serve or deliver product faster.
Billions are invested annually to optimize the entire supply chain. As landlords, we benefit from these ever increasing efficiencies.
