1. During the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic, people stopped distancing too early, leading to a second wave of infections that was deadlier than the first.
2. In San Francisco, when the number of Spanish flu cases was almost down to zero. City council open up the city & announced big parade downtown to celebrate "The End of Pandemic"

Two months later, the Spanish Flu was back again roaring.
3. US Philadelphia too had similar fate, inspite of warnings the city did not cancel the WW1 victory parade.

More than 10,00 people died in Philadelphia. Majority were young adults, their strong immune system did not work to battle against this Flu.
4. Corona may not prove as deadliest as Spanish Flu with better technology, pre cautionary measures. Let us not be careless & celebrate "The End of Corona Virus"

The Spanish Flu lasted for 3 years, infected nearly 50 Crores & killed 5 crores in 3 Waves.
In spring 1920 a very minor wave occurred in isolated areas including NY City, the UK, Austria, Scandinavia. Mortality rates were very low. Thus Spanish Flu disappeared miraculously (?)

Let us continue stay caution, hygiene, wear mask, avoid travel & continue social distancing..
