@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters So, since that time I ended up arguing with a Trump supporter for 4 days straight, I promised myself I'd end arguments that last longer than a normal day. So it'll be my last series of tweets, after which I'll mute the thread.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters Sorry, otherwise it just drags on and gets pretty exhausting and time consuming for something not very enjoyable, especially now that you're full on ignoring my tweets. What am I talking about?
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters Well, take your last tweet, and move it before my last series of tweet, and it still makes perfect sense in the conversation. You aknowledged abslutely none of those tweets, wich makes me basically talk to a wall.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters You also don't seem to aknowledge all the info about sweden, and only take what promotes your narrative. Sweden relies on a population that 1) is heavily willing to enforce and trust the measures of it's government 2) is already not the crowding type.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters Added to the fact that it has one of the best healthcare system of the world. Maybe even better than Canada's.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters I don't know where you live, but where I am, if you go out during the weekend, you can see quite a lot of people not wearing masks, walking close to each other and not social distancing AT ALL. A lot of people still don't take this seriously, so no, we're not sweden.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters Also, the only thing we can compare it to right now is the influenza. Like I already said, I don't know if you know people working in healthcare, but I do, and it gets pretty hardcore in hospitals during a flu outbreak.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters It is estimated that C19 has a R0 twice to thrice times more important that the flu, and a mortality rate 6 to 17 times worse.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters Hospitals have been overcrowded before, and some doctors in Italy even complained about having to decide who gets to have a chance at life because they couldn't care for everyone. Somebody once said there are only two ways the public will look at a pandemic response.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters If it gets bad, people will complain that the government didn't react fast enough, and if it doesn't, people will complain that the government made it look like it was way worse than it really was and that it's response was excessive.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters I'm begining to believe this person was right.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters Like I said earlier, if you think that 2000$ per person per month isn't enough to sustain one's basic needs without falling into extreme poverty, you should ask for better support from the government, not reopening earlier than their experts wants to.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters Canada's dept is at 737 billions right now, and nobody died from it. Don't make me say things I never did tho, we shouldn't do just whatever with the debt, but making sure that the citizens are safe AND can sustain themselves for long enough should be top priority.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters (Notice the AND, wich makes this whole thing not mutually exclusive).
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters Anyway, after all of this, if you're still not convinced and still think you know better than our leaders and their experts, it might just come down to : how many people are you willing to sacrifice to maintain a lower country debt.
@ConfusedMathem1 @Reuters I'll leave you with some links that might or might not interrest you, last one surely will, since it's just numbers and wont go against your narrative. Stay safe, whatever you do.
