Keep in mind that Congress isn't only subpoenaing Trump's records. They're also seeking Deutsche's records of employee detecting potentially suspicious Trump transactions. This isn't a hypothetical issue – those records almost certainly exist. nytimes.com/2019/05/19/bus…
Justice Kavanaugh is questioning Congress's lawyer now. He replaced Anthony Kennedy on the court. Kennedy's son Justin used to work at Deutsche Bank and helped arrange hundreds of millions of dollars in loans to Trump.
According to @adamliptak, the Supreme Court is likely to vote on these cases in the next several days, maybe by Friday. (Decision won't be announced publicly until June/July.) nytimes.com/interactive/20…
