People can leave their homes to collect goods, go to recycling centre and visit a “public open space for the purposes of open-air recreation to promote their physical or mental health or emotional wellbeing” - ie, you don’t have to exercise.
As announced before, you can meet someone from outside your household when you go outdoors. Garden centres & outdoor sports courts can open, but not playgrounds. And, yes, fines are going up from £60 for a first offence to £100, to a max of £3,200 for repeat offenders...
The new regulations also define what an “open public space” is. You may need a copy of the 1949, 1968 and 2000 Countryside Acts to ensure you stay on the right side of the law. Good luck with that!
