We are seeing the FRAUD PRESSURE from Chinese publications/preprints/+ increase dramatically. We are seeing multiple attempts to plant fraudulent studies in prominent journals (@nature, @CurrentBiology, @NatureMedicine u name it) from china based labs.
This is not new, but the level/pressure is.
Now Editors/Journals have now for years sucked up to China and have in my view sold out on Q/C and scepticism. However, this is now becoming a mortal threat literally both to science but also to our ability to fight COVID19.

Finally it is worth noting there are multiple reports of cyberattacks on research and hospital facilities originating from China, now even if the outbreak is due to natural jump to humans....these attacks de facto amount to weaponization of the outbreak.
