@anniekarni @maggieNYT Have you had a chance to look at the video yet? Would you agree that starting Kushner's quote in the middle of his sentence (w/o an ellipsis) & not noting that "commit" was the word the interviewer used gives a different impression?

This @WHO statement on the Der Spiegel article says "To note: China confirmed human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus on 20 January."

Yet, to this day, China's Health Commission website lists January 25th as date "Human-to-human transmission confirmed":
This is especially important because by January 25th, millions had left Wuhan, the epicenter of the epidemic. The Chinese Communist govt appears to be trying to distort the timeline to avoid greater culpability.

Also, note the "@WHO refused to declare the virus a global health emergency," as if China is saying "we tried to tell them!" WHO will defend China, but China is perfectly willing to chuck WHO under the bus.

In March, Rick Bright requested the FDA issue an "Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for emergency use of oral formulations of chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychloroquine sulfate for the treatment of 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19)..."

This "emergency" request to allow doctors to prescribe chloroquine is not mentioned in this @maggieNYT-@shearm @nytimes piece about Bright's ouster, though Bright seems to allude to it here:

He says "he insisted"... I do not have the text of his request, but the FDA's response puts the limitations he mentioned today as a condition for the approval back in March.
