SHEIKH FAYSAL JAMEEL HASSAN GHAZZAWI 
He was born in the year 1385AH. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in General Reading (i.e. reading that has to do with the Holy Qur’an) from Umm Al Qurra University in the year 1409AH.
He then obtained a Master’s Degree on how you recite the Holy Qur’an from the same University.
He thereafter he obtained a Doctorate Degree in the year 1423AH.
During his academic years, he dedicated his research material to Ibn Attiyah’s approach in presenting recitations and the impact of it on interpretation and a segment of Ibn Al-Mulqin’s book about what makes a true mosque.
Sheikh Faysal is currently the Dean of the College of Da’awah and Fundamentals of Religion at Umm Al Quraa University in Makkah.
He is one of the Imams of Masjid Al Haram and has been since his appointment in the year 1428AH.
