Paccione-Zayas: Need to build ability of educators to support social emotional needs of children. Extends to children w/ disabilities & all kids who need a structure that has been disregulated. Homeroom tchrs need to work collab & smarter w/ SpEd & specials #CovidRacialJustice

Todd-Breland: All communications should lead with "How are you?" "What do you need?" Share resources or that you can get the resources needed. This means so much to youth- to hear your voice, see you, know you are truly there. #COVIDRacialJustice

Paccione-Zayas says she just hosted a webinar for ECE teachers. Adults really need to practice self care. Young children feel you. We need to be vulnerable & express our own feelings... this will help younger children be able to understand/process own feelings #COVIDRacialJustice
