I've had a weird, constant arrhythmia for several days, and it's making me nervous. I've never had heart problems. It's so random.
I don't even know how to describe it. I think I feel blood quickly build up in my heart, expand past what's typical, and then shoot out -- all in a split second, four or five waves like that. Then nothing for 10-15 minutes. Then it happens again.
I wanna go to the doctor, but I also don't want to be some weirdo showing up to the hospital wasting their time with something that turns out to be trivial.
Okay, at the VA medical center. So far, so good. Doctor is saying my heart looks initially healthy after EKG and blood pressure, but they’re running blood tests now to make sure all is good.

Gotta say: this whole thing has spooked me. It’s making me think I really need to overhaul my diet and cut out foods that aren’t so heart-healthy.
Alright, just got cleared! The Doc was really glad I came in, and she walked me through my tests. I have a very healthy heart, but it’s just very jumpy at the moment for some reason. That was so fast! Shout-out to nurses and docs of @DCVAMC for being so professional and kind. ❤️
