Harvard just tripled down on their attack on homeschooling

"A Warning on Homeschooling"😱👻
The first thing out of Elizabeth Bartholet's mouth is anti-conservative anti-Christian fearmongering.

Oh no! Homeschoolers are CHRISTIANS! 😱👻
The Harvard Law Professor wishes we were more like Germany - where homeschooling is banned.

The Nazi regime outlawed homeschooling in 1938.
She says homeschoolers abuse their children - and that they are "simply not learning academic skills"

Who wants to tell her about all of the abuse and academic failure going on in government schools?🤔
No but really - somebody tell her

The Nation's Report Card just came out

24% proficient in Civics
35% proficient in Geography
15% proficient in U.S. History
Here she goes again with her favorite word: "Many"

[Citation Needed]

And come on - does she really think indoctrination doesn't happen in government schools?🤔

That's literally why they were created.
She says homeschoolers won't learn to tolerate other people's views

Well she doesn't seem very tolerant of conservatives & Christians.

And we live in a highly polarized society.

Does she really think the 3% of kids who are homeschooled are the root of our problems?🤔
Interviewer: "Who makes sure homeschooled children are being educated?"

Bartholet: "Nobody."

I guess parents and family members don't mean anything to Bartholet?

And who makes sure kids are being educated in government schools?🤔
Oh no! Some homeschoolers are "right-wing Christian conservatives"!😱👻
"The biggest teachers' unions in the country have found homeschooling deeply problematic."

That tells you homeschooling is a great idea.

Teachers unions want to force kids to stay in their failing monopoly schools.
She actually thinks the Constitution grants us our rights.

Nope. Our rights pre-exist government.

Constitutional rights protect us from government abuse of power.
This is total lunacy:

Bartholet says "there's a right to abuse your child, so as long as you homeschool."

She is a Harvard Law Professor.
She denies the overwhelmingly positive evidence on homeschooling because it destroys her argument

She calls it "junk science"

Meanwhile she doesn't even cite any statistics to support her fearmongering claims.
Here she goes calling homeschooling "maltreatment and educational deprivation" again

"Many" [Citation Needed]

Who wants to tell her about that maltreatment and educational deprivation in government schools?🤔
She wants parents to have to prove to government why they should be able to educate their OWN CHILDREN at home

She wants everyone to be GUILTY until proven innocent.

That's not how we do things in America.
Even if you are approved to homeschool, she "would still require that their kids participate in some school courses and extracurricular activities."

That wouldn't be homeschooling.

That's authoritarianism.
These aren't just disturbing authoritarian ideas either

She is pushing to ban homeschooling

She wants to take away our rights

She wants us to be guilty until proven innocent.
Here is the anti-homeschooling propaganda interview released today by Harvard Gazette
news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/…
Harvard Law School should host a homeschooling debate.

Let's see if Elizabeth Bartholet is truly confident in her ideas.
25%*
Sorry for the typo everyone

I went to a government school

This staggering figure includes about 540,000 assaults and 45,000 sex offenses – crimes that directly victimize children in places that are supposed to be safe havens for learning.

BREAKING: Undercover journalists caught a University of Iowa official admitting they "reimagined" their DEI programs.

"It's not going away. We're just reimagining how we're doing it."

They still do DEI "bias trainings" and "ally trainings."

I have the video.
Buckle up 👇🧵
The administrator tells the undercover journalist that the "bias trainings" and "ally trainings" are not going away.

"It's not going away. We're just reimagining how we're doing it."
The university had to get rid of its DEI office, but they "are going to use academics to help us make it come to fruition."

"So we got a strategy."

Undercover journalists caught the director of Iowa State University's LGBTQIA+ department admitting they still push DEI despite a ban.

She says "we are finding the loopholes in the laws."

"If they're going to light the hoops on fire, let's take the game to them."

Buckle up👇🧵
"I'm Dr. Sue. I'm the director here. I use She/Her pronouns, or any pronouns that are offered with respect."

Susan Harper is the director of the LGBTQIA+ department at Iowa State University.
She says "we are finding the loopholes in the laws."

She says she heard about undercover journalists exposing DEI administrators in Texas.

HOW IRONIC!

BREAKING: A Florida parent calls on school board chair Sarah Rockwell to resign because she "cheered for the death of MAGA."

She said, "Good. One less MAGA in the world" in response to Hulk Hogan’s death.
One of the board members calls on a deputy so the parent "can be REMOVED from the auditorium."

They violated that parent's First Amendment rights.

The board then backpedals and admits "Our attorney asks us NOT to remove him."

They now have a big problem on their hands.
Here is the school board chair's now-deleted Facebook post originally reported by @jhaskinscabrera: Image

I just found the resolutions passed by Randi Weingarten’s union this year.
Randi Weingarten’s union passed a resolution "protecting public education from right-wing extremism."

The American Federation of Teachers will teach "about the insidious nature of white supremacy." Image

A new study found that weakening teachers unions improved student outcomes.

It also increased votes for Republicans.

Check it out 👇🧵
A Wisconsin law weakening teachers unions reduced union revenues.

Teachers unions contribute nearly all their political funding to Democrats.

That means reducing union revenues reduced Democrat campaign contributions. Image
Weakening teachers unions improved outcomes, especially for low-income students. Image
