This is cameraman Nicky getting his done. Tests are run overnight and results tomorrow. In the meantime, passengers are bussed by the civil protection authority to specially designated hotels. Where they must remain until they get their results.
If negative, you then go home - where you quarantine for 14 days. If positive, you stay in the hotel and await medical advice

For a population of around 11 million, they have had just 160 deaths and around 2,500 cases.
The big test is a possible second wave - particularly as they look to get tourism restarted. But it’s a very slick and easy process and it seems to have worked well.
