With Lockdown 3.0 getting over, and people getting ready to return to their workplaces from next week, has the main objective of the lockdown really been achieved?

We paid a huge price in terms of human suffering and economic growth. Was it worth it?

"Public health experts agree that the purpose of a lockdown is not to stop the disease entirely, but to buy time (so) health-care system isn’t overwhelmed."
Unfortunately, treatment protocols have still not be established, and testing remains ad hoc. How will we cope?

"India’s public health system is already stretched thin. Other diseases like diabetes and tuberculosis are going increasingly untreated because resources have been shifted to fight the virus and patients are reluctant or unable to visit hospitals."
This issue remains.
There don't seem to be concrete plans that have been shared with citizens on how the restrictions will be eased back.
From past experience, it is possible that everyone may rush out of home at 12:01 on Monday to celebrate post Lockdown freedom. I shudder to think of that.
