How are countries recovering?
1) Well: Germany, S Korea...Iran facing big second wave.
2) Slow: Italy, Spain and much slower France
3) Yet to show overall recovery: US, UK, Russia, Brazil and Russia...because their ACTIVE cases are still growing.
ACTIVE cases in hotspot countries (>100K cases), Japan, S Korea and in India:
1) Rising: US, UK, Russia, Brazil and India - yet to #FlattenTheCurve
2) Rising once again after weeks of strong recovery: Iran
3) Falling consistently = #flattenedthecurve
How fast are ACTIVE cases growing?
1) Rising speed: Brazil, Ireland, Peru, Mexico, Iran, UAE, US, Ecuador, Canada
2) Slowing down: India, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore...
COVID death rate per million people:
1) Low and rising slowly: India, Japan
2) High and rising: UK, Sweden, US, Canada
3) V high: Belgium...

How are Indian states doing? #StateHealth
1) MH (33.5%) & GJ (12%) - still reporting big increases in active cases.
2) TN (11.7%) - reporting declining active cases and rising recovery.
3) Recovery in most states (PB reports v big recovery).
How are ACTIVE cases changing in the states?
1) High and rising (big new wave): KL
2) Rising speed (bad): TS, RJ, MP, JK, GJ
3) Biggest decline (good improvement): TN, PB
4) Slowing down in all other states (good).
Where are daily new cases coming from? 5Day Moving Average:
1)Look at MH! #alarming (~2000) @OfficeofUT
2)TN (~600)...thankfully declining @CMOTamilNadu
3)DL (~400)...not showing any decline @ArvindKejriwal
4)GJ(~350) @vijayrupanibjp
5)RJ, MP, UP (~200)
6)BR (~150),WB (~100)
Are states testing enough? Confirmed positive cases per 100 tests (~4% all India)
1)High & rising: MH, GJ - infection ahead, need much more CT+T
2)Persistently high: DL - need more CT+T
3)Low but rising: BR - infection ahead, need more CT+T (compare BR & KL)
4)TS: who knows?!
COVID death rate per million- across states with >150 cases:
1) GJ & MH: more than 4X all India!
2) 5 states pulling mortality rate in India: WB, MP, DL, MH, GJ
3) DL: death rate high and rising fast! @ArvindKejriwal
