Buzzfeed reporters, Anthony Cormier & Jason Leopold, gathered FOIA from US Treasury & discovered whistleblowers at FinCEN who formally filed complaints w/ Office of Special Counsel about odd requests from Russia. Jack Lew is prominently mentioned.

At least 10 whistleblowers from FinCEN filed complaints or declared whistleblower status after alleging domestic spying, insider threats, retaliation and Russia wanting financial docs on Kremlin enemies.

Russia requested sensitive docs on Dirk, Edward & Daniel Ziff, billionaire investors who'd run afoul of Kremlin. Request was made weeks before Russian lawyer showed up at Trump Tower offering “dirt” on Hillary-including supposed connection to Ziff brothers

Documents show that at the same time (Russia) requests were being made, Treasury officials were using their government email accounts to send messages back & forth with a network of private Hotmail & Gmail accounts set up by the Russians.

Let's talk a little about the Ziff Brothers. Derek Shearer is a Director of Obama's old alma mater, Occidental College, and was there at the same time as Obama. Shearer is also a BFF of the Clintons, as well as international advisor to the Ziff Brothers.

We've got our Ukraine connection! FinCen had a man working for them with close family ties to Ukraine, who previously came from the State Department. He was denied a security clearance because of suspicious contacts with foreigners.
