Listening to America's most corrupt & political Attorney General @TheJusticeDept in history, let's explore what he's done and then the reason why I think he is doing it:

1. As a conflicted prosecutor, overruled findings & cases of independent counsel, sbaotaging the IC law.../1

...
2. Lied to Congress about the findings of the IC while refusing to release the actual report.
3. After concluding that impeachment was the only way to deal with IC findings, refused to give the report to Congress, thus eliminating their constitutional role in.../2

3...determining whether the report found impeachable offenses. (It's like saying "You can only eat food you buy, but you are forbidden from buying food.)
4. Of the major cases brought by the IC, got the case against Russian hackers thrown out, while intervening in cases..../3

...against Trump's buddies were brought by Mueller. I also think it is no mistake that, during COVID-19, Trump's former campaign manager was released while the person who testified against Trump and committed far less significant crimes was released and then locked back up.../4

5. Used his own motions on the IC cases to argue later that the results of the case shows these indictments were part of a corrupt conspiracy
6. Continuously suggests that Obama had something to do with Mueller apoinment when it was TRUMP's DOJ that did it.../5

...after Trump bragged on national TV that he fired Comey to bring an end to the investigations of Russia, thus showing without doubt that the President in a knowing - and announced - effort to obstruct an investigation that, till that point, had nothing to do with him.../6

7. Declares, without investigation, that the findings were wrong of the IG finding no issue with the Russia cases, then appoints a conflicted prosecutor to investigate the actions of the independent counsel, thus once again undermining the entire purpose of the IC law..../7

...
8. Prior to any findings of his conflicted prosecutor's findings, repeatedly stands up - in MASSIVE violation of DOJ policy - and declares what the investigation will find.
9. Makes statements using the words "criminal" and "abuse of power" in discussing the former POTUS../8

...and Trump's competitor in the 2020 election, thus violating DOJ policy by making comments beyond the findings of an investigation with the clear impact of interfering with the election.
10. Never describes what these "abuses" possibly are, but uses words like "unmasking".../9

...to fool the dimwits who dont know what that means, but feeds Fox News conspiracy theories.
11. Interferes with the IG law for the intelligence world by somehow being told of a confidential whistleblower filing, demanding he takes it, tells IG to shut up, then sits on it.../10

...this is a 100% violating of the law. The AG has NO role in the intelligence community whistleblower law on filings. The IG, when a credible case is found, is required by law to turn it over to the Congressional intelligence committees. Barr obstructed that.../11

...by granting himself powers he DOES NOT HAVE.

At bottom, these are the messages Barr has sent that undermine and obstruct justice: If you provide evidence against the President, you will be buried. If you stick by him, even if convicted of a crime, you will be let off.../12

...if you are aware of wrongdoing and file a whistleblower report, Barr will obstruct and - if it happens to get out - the GOP will do everything in its power to wreck the lives of whistleblowers.

EVERY form of oversight is gone. The independent counsel law, while still on.../13

...the books, is meaningless because Barr has shown he will obstruct justice & undermine that law even though he's required not to. If an inspector general manages to get out a report, Barr will repudiate it without investigation & the IG will be up for termination by Trump.../14

...so, why? Why would someone risk his reputation, the DOJ, the long-term credibility of that agency, and risk potential indictment for obstruction? I find it far fetched that it is all about serving Trump, that Barr wants a Trump autocracy.

No. Barr wants a theocracy.../15

...like everyone willing to commit crimes and wreck people for their religion, I firmly believe that is what Barr is completely about. He signaled this DRAMATICALLY when he gave the most outrageous speech by an AG in history at Notre Dame university last year.../16

...remember, the Attorney General is NOT a legislator, NOT a judge. He is a member of the executive branch whose ONLY responsibility is enforcing the law, not picking and choosing which ones he likes.

Thus it was jaw-dropping when Barr *attacked* the law at ND, declaring.../17

...that lawmakers and courts were passing corrupt things to undermine the freedoms given us by the Founders acting under God and judaeo-christian imperatives.

This one paragraph shows Barr's contempt for the law, and his greater interest in having an Iranian theocracy...

...now, like all Christian whiners, Barr believes that their ability not to order everyone else what to do impedes on their religion, that the vast vast majority of the United States - Christians - are somehow being robbed of freedoms because gays can marry and some states.../19

...legalize marijuana. He attacks every element of the social safety net - again, passed by law. He attacks those who disagree with a contemptuous "progressives" who are burning people like him at the stake for, you know, having a different opinion..../20

...and he attacks those who believe things like laws he doesn't like are part of living in a secular society. When you get right down to it, he seems to believe we don't live in a secular society. He *certainly* believes we shouldn't.../21

...in fact, in a declaration that overrules centuries of jurisprudence, the actual history of the United States, and the authority of the separate branches of government, Barr declares that the Founders only intended freedom for religious people.../22

...what does all this have to do with his behavior? Religious fanatics who believe only THEIR truth is reality will do anything. They will kill, they will commit suicide, they will beat family members, and they will undermine the law, all on behalf of the God they see as.../23

...the TRUE God. Now, I won't get into it since this is long enough, but Barr's religious interpretations are equivalent to those of a 5 year old. He doesnt know what the Bible even says, he just knows what other fanatics have told him.

But why Trump? Start here:.../24

...Barr is not an idiot. He knows what he is doing. He knows he is undermining the law. He knows he is lying to the public. He knows he is risking indictment if we ever have a real government again..../25

..but like all religious fanatics, he doesnt care. He thinks God is too weak, & needs Barr's help. Trump, with his hubris & stupidity, is the perfect vessel for Barr, one that must be protected. Because that's Barrs only means of forcing us to live in the theocracy he craves.
