Why did KA do so well in Covid control compared to TN?

A friend of mine who is privy to the administration says what worked better for KA is :-
1)..There was No politics in covid control. Opposition didn't simply question all the measures taken by CM. They played by spirit. /1

2)..Kannada media was apolitical in its reporting of Covid news. They scared people on the implications of community spread. They showed violators from all communities as villains. They didn't try to justify or side with violators. They supported state admin on Covid mgmt.. /2
3).. The same spirit was played in the Kannada SM too. There weren't too many anti govt memes going around. Memes insulted violators &urged people to comply with the state govt imposed control measures. So the rebel (poraali) mentality of youth was in check. /3
4)..People were by and large compliant with the instructions of district administration. The enforcement authorities (police) weren't under any pressure from opposition, public, media, or SM over strictly enforcing the rules. All these worked for them.
