The list includes Acephate, Atrazine, Benfuracarb, Butachlor, Captan, Carbendazim, Carbofuran, Chlorpyriphos, 2,4-D, Deltamethrin, Dicofol, Dimethoate, Dinocap, Diuron, Malathion, Mancozeb, Methomyl, Monocrotophos,

Oxyfluorfen, Pendimethalin, Quinalphos, Sulfosulfuron, Thiodicarb, Thiophanat emethyl, Thiram, Zineb, Ziram,

In most the cases there is no scientific data that suggest harm to human beings. Also some of the large molecules are yet to be banned in developed countries. The company/industry is likely to object ban on some of the large molecules.

Collectively these products contribute more than 35% of the Indian agrochemical industry
Further, there is ambiguity if the company would be allowed to manufacture these products for exports as regulator issues separate license for domestic use and exports

However, this might turn out to be a positive for MNCs and speciality molecules (PI Inds) as they rollout advanced molecules.
