Our eyes have not seen what the Lord would spring from the parched soil of this barren season if His people would seek His face with fiery faith. We do not realize our blessed estate for nothing on earth postures us to see divine wonders like knowing God alone can get us through.
I say this as an older saint who has observed this phenomenon in Scripture over & over thru decades of Bible reading & seen it play out with my own eyes. Churches, you could hardly be in a more perfect condition to see a great awakening.

Watch and see. The harvest will not come to the cynical and sophisticated. It will not come to the controlling and contentious. It will come to the humble, to those with childlike faith who go to their knees asking God to recall the works of old & renew them in our desperate day.
PS. I’ve written these tweets on a walk in our woods before work and paused just long enough on that last tweet to stomp a copperhead that was slithering inches from my sweet border collie. Do not tell me God does not have a funny way of working. And good timing.
