Except many Leave-Arch-Druids *do* get it. They just need to continue painting EU as satanic-scapegoat, so that when transition ends they can run like cowards from any responsibility/accountability for consequences of their beloved Brexit. Virus helps out. Meteor? Icing on cake!
Final point before violin: maybe EU has no interest in jumping to UK tune, because what Johnson is now offering (having reneged on previous terms) isn't actually that valuable? There aint so much between Johnson's deal & no deal at all, so why should EU bend over backwards for it
