which is true. I think he wants to save the GOP, even now, thinking trump is aberration... not yet

They don't want any "left of center" party...they don't want balance. They don't wish to govern. They want to Rule.

People like SS and most GOP faithful

He, and the other GOP refugees, like @davidfrum GeorgeWill etc, had no problem w McConnell's S/Court shenanigans w Obama.
Or the endless Tax cuts

I appreciate what he does re Trump.
I think it needs to go deeper.
