While there are some pantheistic and perennialist impulses, Sufism is a spiritual *discipline* of Islam, engaging in Islamic principles and theology.

When Sufis practice dhikr they recite the 99 Names of Allah, not the names of Horus or Zeus.
Religions are beautiful and fascinating and finding points of commonality and exchange is worthwhile, but they are not just interchangeable.

Stripping spiritual beliefs of their history is a form epistemological violence.
It is fair on the other hand to note that many religions have a mystical or esoteric set of traditions. But each with its own nuanced histories
