1/1 Ashapuri: The Architecture of Rajput Paramar & Pratihar Art. The complex houses 26 uniquely styled temples of varying proportions. There is a many book which is proved that place was razed to dust by Mughals & hence is in ruins. All the way you can only found ruins of temple.
1/2 ASI and temples are systematically numbered from 1 to 26.The only erect structure is of the Bhootnath Temple or Temple 5. The east facing Bhootnath Temple is the largest temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu & Shiva was built in the new Bhumija style of architecture.

1/3 The mandap with erect pillars was built of red sandstone. The shikhar had five bhumi (storey) compositions. Fragments and deity recovered from the site confirm the temple was grand & richly decorated. Please open the images to read the details. 1/5 Ruined of Maa Ashapuri temple decorated with carved microscopic sculptures and depicted garland & you can see the beheaded deity of Mother Durga inside the temple and there is also the ruins of the depicted deities of Sapthamatrikas.
1/6 Another temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Billota temple. A big Shiva linga is seen outside the temple with many small lingas carved on it, Sahasralinga. A beautifully carved but broken pillar base is also seen, with a carving exhibits the various avatars of Lord Vishnu. 1} In the 1st Image of Vamana Avatar we can see both hand is being cut off by Islamic looters
2nd image is of Lord Parashurama 6th avatar of Vishnu and his both hands is being mutilated.
3rd image is belongs to some sages beheaded by khalji dynasty

1/11 Like this there is numerous ruined all the way of temple I must say this Temple is the Aihole of Central India. After so many invasion now also it's stand with the beauty now also temple is telling us the story about her beautification rich architecture.
