Interesting data points on CV-19. Hospitalizations overall, CV vs Flu:
Much lower for <17, average for >65, higher for ages 18-65 cdc.gov/coronavirus/20…
Overall, the spike in reports of flu-like illness (symptoms same as CV-19) didn’t surpass reports from late December 2019. For young people, it never came near the high points in late Dec., then mid-February:
ILI reports nearly nonexistent everywhere except a few spots: Wisconsin has been orange for the past few weeks:
CDC reports 67,000 CV fatalities. Nearly half from NYC, NY, NJ
Of the nearly 1M tests administered since March 1, <15% were positive. That’s hardly the nationwide crisis we were warned...and the total is probably much lower without NYC
