Trump has withheld life-saving supplies in exchange for re-election support, has distributed it to help campaigns, and is now threatening pandemic support for Michigan over false charges of election tampering.

Call it what it is. Genocide.

If there is freedom in the future, if there is a future, people are going to look at how Trump played politics during this pandemic and they're going to label it genocide. Period.

We're in denial right now, but it's as obvious as anything the crime that is taking place.
You don't need guns or camps to carry out a genocide. Withholding life-saving supplies or aid based on political retribution is genocide.

Trump is carrying out a blatant attack on America. Pretending it isn't happening doesn't make it less true, it only hides the crime.

What’s amazing is that the most lauded and celebrated “geniuses” of the new era understood the most base, destructive, and divisive desires of people versus what was needed to create a better and fairer society.
Not that, you know, it’s indicative of what’s wrong with America or anything, but it’s totally indicative of what’s wrong with America and why we’re in this current societal crisis.
Nobody at Facebook or Twitter or anything understands what they unleashed. Their platforms are lucrative because they stimulate the worst parts of us. They look at what they’ve wrought like Victor Von Frankenstein. It isn’t about betterment. It never, ever was.

For the record. Political and entertainment obsession with "optics" has now reached such a disastrous and toxic level that supposedly reputable pundits are criticizing politicians for wearing life-saving items and modeling healthy behaviors.
What you need to understand is that pundits and news entertainers have been submerging you in an illusion for decades now, a fake reality that has nothing to do with our actual lives or betterment of society, but is obsessed with political manipulation and political spectacle.
Politics is not a television show. It's not a sport. It shouldn't be something to watch like a newly released Netflix series. It's about coming together and deciding a way forward to better people's lives.

This obsession with optics and maneuvering is a poison. Period.

Donald Trump and Republicans can't win elections that are free and fair and can only maintain power if Americans are kept from voting.

If you want free and fair elections in 2020 and beyond, the time to fight for them is NOW.

Already the GOP is suing California over mail-in ballots, Trump is calling it the beginning of an effort to steal the elections.

This thing is building and the pandemic is giving them a chance to solidify power. We have to recognize the danger and we have to recognize it now.
To reform our elections would be almost impossible under even the best circumstances, but the pandemic makes this trench warfare.

Do not just assume the elections in November will be free, fair, or safe. In Wisconsin they've already shown a willingness to sacrifice lives.
