We belong to the "Eurasian" old world. We've traded with Europe / Near East for millennia
Yet we dislike Europe/Near East
Instead we feel "comfortable" with non-Eurasian cultures like Sub-saharan Africa, American Indians, Australasia
Be it an Englishman or an Indian. An Egyptian or a Greek
We all belong to cultures that have grown food for 6000+ years. We are all familiar with the horse. We've had large cities for 3K+ years
Something that marks us out from non-Eurasian cultures, which don't always have a literary tradition....Even if some of them knew farming / settled agrarian life
