77.09% are reported recoveries

Not all recoveries are reported. The percentage of closed cases reported as recoveries has remained above deaths for the last 45 days.

As of May 21, 2020, the reported death total rose 1.73% over May 20, 2020. There were 1,513 reported deaths for today.

As of May 21, 2020, total reported tests increased by 3.23%. Total new active cases increased by 1.68%. The trend is still toward leveling for the last 47 days.

Summary: Today saw 1,513 reported deaths and 4,106 recoveries. Recoveries are still growing well. All other trends are toward slowing growth or leveling. Some states are reporting antibody tests alongside PCR tests, polluting the results.
