New retrospective study from Tongji Hospital in Wuhan showing 19% fatalities in critically ill #COVID19 patients treated with low dose #hydroxychloroquine, and 47% in patients not treated with HCQ.

But I have some questions.

link.springer.com/article/10.100…
Q1. No patient consent was obtained to treat patients with HCQ, even though it is an experimental drug.
But this might be OK according to local rules.
Q2. Majority of patients (77%) is listed as having a fever (blue box).
But median body temp is listed as 36.6°C (Q1-Q3 range 36.3-37.0) (top red box).
That does not sound very feverish to me.
Q3. Symptoms data in the table is listed for only 458 patients - not available for almost 100?
Body temp, pulse, etc are not fancy measurements.
It is of concern that 17% of data was not available.
Q4. Median values for the total group are all LOWER than the median values for the 2 subgroups. Is that mathematically possible? See values marked in red.
Q5.
* Patients were admitted until as late as April 4
* Figure 1 shows the patient survival 60 days since admission.
* Paper was submitted to journal on April 23, 2020.
I have trouble fitting a 60-day interval between April 4 and April 23.
