All we see is the number of people within "pillar 1" who have died of COVID-19.
But only 180,202 people from the pillar 1 contingent have tested positive to date. So the 36,393 deaths reported to date come from those 180,202 people (20.2%)
The other 73,993 positives? Who knows!

So the daily Department of Health tweets are totally misleading.
They report a total number of positive tests.
They report a total number of deaths.
But those deaths only come from a subset of the people within that total number of positive tests. The "pillar 1" subset.

But that also means (from a death toll point of view) only 1,379,691 of the 3,231,921 tests conducted to date were ever going to be relevant, regardless of their outcome. The other 1,852,230 tests do not inform the death rate, even if they were positive.
