Are states testing enough? A thread.
A high Test Positivity Rate (TPR) indicates that a state is testing groups who are more probable to be sick or that the infection is widespread that more samples are turning positive. States with high TPR like MH, GJ and DL are concerns.

1/4
Average state Test Positivity Rate (TPR) vs. TPR in last 2 weeks. WHO recommends that TPR should be below 5 for two weeks before re-opening. The TPR of states like MH, GJ, TN and DL have remained above that recommended figure and are concerns.

2/4
Looking at Tests Per Million (TPM) vs Positive Cases per Million. States with high positive cases but low TPM are concerns while states with high TPM but low positive cases are generally doing good. MH, GJ and DL are concerns. BH, UP, WB are having low TPM with rising cases.
