79.52% are reported recoveries

20.48% are reported deaths

Not all recoveries are reported. The percentage of closed cases reported as recoveries has remained above deaths for the last 46 days.

As of May 22, 2020, the reported death total rose 1.42% over May 21, 2020. There were 1,261 reported deaths for today.

As of May 22, 2020, total reported tests increased by 2.63%. Total new active cases decreased by 2.46%. The trend is still toward leveling for the last 48 days (w/ a slight drop today).

Some states are reporting antibody tests alongside PCR tests, polluting the results.

Texas and Georgia are working to separate antibody test reporting from PCR test reporting. Other states are still problematic.

Summary: Today saw 1,261 reported deaths and 51,717 recoveries. Recoveries are still growing well. All other trends are toward slowing growth or leveling. Some states are reporting antibody tests alongside PCR tests, polluting the results.
