In sci-fi, it's called a predestination paradox (casual loop). It refers to a phenomenon in which a person traveling back in time become part of past events, and may even have caused the initial event that caused that person to travel back in time in the first place.
Lee Min Ho's physical attributes aside. The drama has already shown that a future Lee Gon met Tae Eul in the current timeline. So, it's now established that somehow, Lee Gon can time travel. #TheKingEternalMonarch #더킹영원의군주
I can only assume that it has something to do with time dilation. I mean, TKEM has pretty much mentioned about quantum mechanics and general relativity.
Another thing is that we still don't know how the unbroken Manpasikjeok works, aside from the legend. Does it grant you any absolute ability or something? Remember that young Lee Gon heard the sound of the flute, which prompted him to wake up and find his murdered father.
Tae Eul's birthday is May 27th. The CCTV footage which Lee Gon saw with a future date is May 27, 2022— more or less two years into the future. I wonder how significant this is.
