@WhoWouldWin13 While Gilgamesh is 1-3rd divine, Hercules is at least half divine and half mortal. I say "at least", because in Greek Mythology, Hercules lived in the "Age of Heroes", a time when humans were giant demigods. The Greeks believed in several human races that lived before modern
@WhoWouldWin13 humans (who live in the current "Age of Iron"). You had the age of gold, age of silver, age of bronze, age of heroes and the age of iron, and each species of human was followed by a smaller kind of human. The humans of the age of Heroes were smaller than those of the ages of Gold
@WhoWouldWin13 Silver and Bronze, but larger than us, so much so that mammoth bones found in the ancient world were thought by the Greeks at times to be the bones of ancient heroes from the heroic age. It was only later in Roman times that the Heroic age was done away with in myth, leaving
@WhoWouldWin13 the likes of Hercules and Achilles to now have lived in the Iron age. But in ancient Greece, Hercules lived in an age of demigods, and since his father was Zeus...that made him 3 quarters divine.

This will potentially have an impact on this battle, considering that Hercules
@WhoWouldWin13 killed many a demigod in battle (Be right back, to be continued)
@WhoWouldWin13 While Gilgamesh, who wasn't a full demigod, most often slew mere mortals in battle.

Now, both were thought to have been giants, and both fought and slew monsters. Both were said to have super strength, but, like in comic books, super strength among ancient heroes varied
@WhoWouldWin13 considerably in scale, with some heroes being FAR FAR FAR FAR stronger than others. Gilgamesh is strong, but Herakles...held the weight of the heavens while Atlas, a Titan, fetched him the Golden Apples of the Hesperides (which was guarded by a 100 headed dragon named Ladon).
@WhoWouldWin13 He also busted the land bridge between Morocco and Spain, thus connecting the Mediterranean with the Atlantic...with a single sword thrust into the ground.

Gilgamesh hasn't done anything to rival these feats.

Along with this, Hercules wears the hide of the Nemean Lion, which
@WhoWouldWin13 was so super durable that the beast, while alive, yawned when Hercules' arrows hit it. He had to either strangle it or hit it on the head with a club, depending on the source you read (the latter is FAR more logical, considering how strong and tough the Nemean Lion was (its flesh
@WhoWouldWin13 and bones would have to be of several orders of magnitude tougher than wood or stone, which a club would be made out of). Indeed, the hide covered much of his upper body, offering him protection. This enable him to survive a battle involving heroes from Greece battling heroes
@WhoWouldWin13 of the freaking Amazons (Hercules feared the Amazons alone. These were heroes among the Amazons! I mean, YIKES!!!).

Thus, Gilgamesh's weapons will fail against the Nemean hide.
However, due to his super resistance to injury, Gilgamesh's flesh may prove too durable for
@WhoWouldWin13 weaponry to cut through. This would potentially lead to a hand to hand combat situation, and considering Hercules far greater strength, I could see him beating Gilgamesh very quickly.

Thus, I must conclude...
@WhoWouldWin13 HERACLES GOES FOR THE PIN!!!!!!
