3. EPGs and TV listings list EM as presenting tonight

Yet despite 1-3, we're supposed to believe that she wasn't due to present?!
I guess it's a case of tuning in tonight to see what, if anything, Pravda-on-Thames says about the whole affair.
Added: this has the smell of a hair being split with a laser scalpel. Maybe she wasn't ordered off, but the BBC's public dressing down on social media will have exposed her to every troll & botfarm in the Western Hemisphere, so perhaps she decided not to appear for her own good?

We should remember that not all Tory MPs are equally complicit. Many of the worst decisions will have been made with just a tiny inner circle from Cabinet in the room.

Most MPs will have had no input at all into the planning process aside from debates and votes in Parliament.
So yes, the calamitous handling of the pandemic is 100% the fault of the Tory party.

But that doesn't mean we should be eager to tar all Tory MPs with the same brush.

Many of them are just as shocked and distraught as all the rest of us are.
For instance, over 80 MPs have now gone public to denounce Cummings or demand his resignation.

So sharpen and focus the aim of your wrath on the people who truly deserve to feel it.
