I've stayed out of the George Floyd story because I didn't feel like I had anything to add that wasn't being said better by others. Then I watched this video of the officers *before* the "knee on the neck" video, and noticed something very disturbing...

...remember, this stop is about a suspected forgery (passing a $10 bill supposedly fake.) Police lied in their report that he resisted arrest.

But something else happens in this new video. The officer is speaking to Floyd in driver seat, & a passenger gets out of the back.../2
...closes the back seat door.../3
...walks away..../4
...turns to watch what is going on with George...
...the officer sees her, starts walking toward her and reaches for his gun...
...he then lets it go, and orders her somewhere. But it was astonishing to see him reach for his gun because someone was standing there. Watch the video. Unless there is something going on here I don't get, a cop that reaches for his gun that fast, for no reason, seems to be...
...the same kind who, if that person who got out of the back seat was lying on the ground with a bullet in the stomach, would claim he feared for his life because he saw that person reach for her/his waist.

This cop should scare everyone. But particularly PoCs.
