To 911: "They don't *appear* to be part of the... <unintelligible>"

If we could talk about Whiteness, we might examine why controlling space is such a big part of the culture. White people make themselves responsible for policing space. Why?
I mean we know the answer is white supremacy. But I mean how does it work? How do white people learn that it's their duty to police space? How do they internalize where that conditioning comes from while avoiding the dissonance from the obvious racism?
I would love to see a breakdown of 911 calls. What percentage of them is someone essentially saying "people exist where I don't think they should exist. I need this to be rectified immediately"?
I think this form of 911 call is notably different from the one we talked about yesterday. It's fascinating to watch this man try to explain what the problem is to the dispatcher. He has to find words to describe why he needs people with guns to come to his current location.
You can almost see him accessing the creative parts of his brain. He has to say something besides "there are some black men here in the same place where I live". That's too on the nose. He is constructing the racist dogwhistle literally on the fly. How does one learn that?
The article uses the phrase "unwanted persons".
