TMC will probably shortly see an exodus 2 BJP-RSS. BJP-RSS will win in 2021. In no time TMC will completely unravel. It would be interesting to see how the vacuum for opposition is filled.RSS will try its best to stop any Hindu opposition with a strong linguistic identity 2 grow+
In contrast, RSS will be very comfortable with an AIMIM like party to grab the opposition space. AIMIM will be the best bet to scare Hindus in2 lifelong slavery for RSS. But, given WB demography AIMIM can’t get the main opposition space in 20 years+
Only viable challenge to BJP-RSS will come from a Hindu party with a strong linguistic identity. Funding will be an issue for such a party to develop. The big business in West Bengal is largely Marwari owned & they would also stop Hindu party with strong linguistic identity.
I don’t believe religion neutral linguistic nationalism has scope to grow beyond small groups here & there, because they typically ignore atrocities by Islamists on Hindus. But if they do voice some of those concerns & is led by an educated group (like Kejri), then just may be

@swati_gs We read ur piece with interest, as we usually do & discussed it. We have criticisms of ur treatment of the topic, not the presented facts. Do we need to show that the Sadhus were Dube s or Tiwaris or non tribals in their Purbashram to argue they were Hindus? @maidros78 @dikgaj +
@swati_gs @maidros78 @dikgaj 1) Shanmukh checked Census. The tribe in question have themselves declared them as Hindus. Why do we need their Purbashram last names to show they were Hindus. Surely. Dube, Tiwari or any other last name arent any more or less Hindus than tribes declaring themselves as Hindus?+
@swati_gs @maidros78 @dikgaj 2) Next, the sect the Sadhus belonged to is an entirely Hindu sect. So, clearly the Sadhus are Hindus, even if they were Khans or Josephs in their Purbashram? Why are Purbashram names of the Sadhus relevant in the argument?

@nayanikaaa @MamataOfficial Like it or not, she understands Bengali culture more than BJP. There is a reason she gave license to Bengal Chemicals at lightning speed. She knew it would strike a chord with many Bengalis and thought it could become an election issue if Center delays
@nayanikaaa @MamataOfficial WB BJP needs some one in its power structure who understands Bengali culture. Otherwise, they won’t be able to identify emotive issues. Bengali born life long Sanghi Jis have long lost the Bengalis in them and hence won’t qualify. They should get someone like you 😊
