Tasmanian Government Railways formed 1872. TGR took over a number of private railways including one that was 5' 3" gauge & established a network that was in
1929 ~655 miles of 3' 6" ~25 miles of 2' railway.

W class 4-8-2 light axle load, all round good performer. Primarily a goods loco but regularly hauled the Australind.
