Where are all the “good cops” & why aren’t y’all protecting protestors from the cops inciting violence at these protests? How can we believe in an institution that does not protect peace & innocence and encourages, supports and protects murderers?
Why aren’t you protecting these people like you protect all the “women’s marches” & white led protests? Why does the entire police force show up like they are going to war with people who want justice? Why are you all so prepared to fight for this system? Why are you so scared?
Why are you so prepared to break your oaths and harm civilians? Why are you so ready to protect a murderer? Why are you so eager to be filmed in your outfits with your weapons and your false sense of authority? Where are the real badasses, the people who got involved with law
enforcement because they thought they were gonna be the good guys that helped bring bad people to justice? Where are you people? Why do you side with them? Why do you stand in blind uniform? Why don’t you think for yourself? I’m so sick of the debate. This isn’t a debate. This
isn’t random, this isn’t surprising, new, there are human beings on both sides of this moment. Where the FUCK is the humanity?!! If our police do not have empathy or humanity for our black neighbors, we are quite literally paying them to be executioners with our tax money.
I’ll be fucking damned if we let this just keep happening..we just accept a president that is willing to call people in pain and grief “thugs” and threaten to send even more geared up, military grade personnel and weaponry to try and “protect” a very clear messsge:
THEIR RIGHT TO MURDER BLACK BODIES WITH IMPUNITY. And we think this is just about the black community, so we distance ourselves because it “doesn’t affect us.” Or “makes us uncomfortable” but we will NEVER know the discomfort of living in a country where your president is willing
to send military force to protect your murderers and beat, intimidate, arrest and kill your people into silence. LEGALLY. “If they start looting we start shooting” as if you aren’t pointing the guns, as if you aren’t threatening us with more, as if you aren’t already armed, as if
you haven’t looted us of our own hard earned money & made sure to take care of all your rich friends during a crisis, as if you aren’t a white supremacist, as if ur undercover cops (caught on camera) aren’t the ones who start these “riots”,
as if it was only black protestors who took advantage of the moment, as if target can’t afford to replace its merchandise when it was deemed an “essential business” during our (still ongoing) pandemic & made billions, as if that supplies that was redistributed didn’t go to help
the protesters and create a bank of MILK so they could POUR IT ON THEIR FACES when you douse them in your mace. You have so much weaponry and are still too cowardly to even hold your own accountable and look at the harm you have done. You are so cowardly you need tanks to tell 14
year old little girls that you arrest with aggression that they’re more dangerous than you. Fuck this shit, and fuck anyone who can’t see past their own comfortability to say anything, do anything, film a death and spread it like wildfire before taking account of how they play
into this system. Fuck anyone with a platform that hasn’t said anything. Especially in my industry, the majority of y’all profit off of your appropriation of black culture and your proximity to it. These systems are fucking broken. There’s no repairing them, there’s no amount
of policy amendment we could possibly come up with that will uproot the evil from the heart of these systems. It is the very foundation of this country, evil. Built off the backs of free labor,
built off the backs of stolen peoples, built on a foundation of lies on stolen land. Criminal wages, crooked leaders, child hunger, homelessness, dirty water, gluttonous billion & trillionaires, a conditional health care system, an outrageous amount of disease of the mind & body
and a vapid empty promise of a dream of riches and pleasure. There is no wealth of soul, of moral character, of accountability, of honor, of respect, of empathy, of sympathy, of dignity or even sanity it’s looking like; None of it.
But you know where it does exist? In the hearts of all the people lining up to protest. In the hearts of the organizers, the freedom fighters, the @OsopePatrisse #AngelaDavis #RuthWilsonGilmore s of the world that see a vision where ALL of us are truly free from the evil this
