Web archives (@internetarchive @archiveis @permacc) are not replaying Twitter's disclaimer for Trump's tweet.

I haven't identified the reason, but the culprit is almost always javascript. It's not a function of the archives' crawlers not being logged in to Twitter; live web pics of unlogged in browser attached.

Summary: regardless of how this unfolds IRL & the live web, web archives will likely be unable to replay this moment in time. For @waybackmachine it's possible the js is archived & could be replayable later, but for @permacc and @archiveis today's mementos can't be improved.

There's at least one context where (live web) Twitter does not apply the notice.

On the left is view I see in: twitter. com/i/timeline. Note that the quoted tweet (not the screen shot) does not have the notice.

On the right is my account page, and the notice is applied.
