This was a good webinar earlier this week. @DrNancyM_CDC says that mothers develop attitudes toward vaccines during pregnancy that last for a really long time. This is a critical time to build trust in vaccines, she said.
Pediatricians are keeping kids safe during routine vaccinations by scheduling well-child visits in morning, sick-care visits in afternoon. So you can be more confident that the doctor's office is clean and germ-free when you arrive, said @DrNancyM_CDC
All three speakers at this @nasem conference note that convenience is a huge factor in getting kids vaccinated. That's one reason babies get multiple vax at one visit. If doctors were to split them up, babies would be more likely to fall behind schedule.
@DubeEve notes that public health staff should work with religious leaders to build trust in vaccines.
