"I am troubled to think about these curfews that are being put in place with like an hour's notice...it feels like a set up," activist DeRay Mckesson says.
"What we keep seeing is poor planning by city officials," DeRay Mckesson says. "I don't want to see another mayor get up and talk about what people need to do when they actually aren't providing the leadership or the modeling for people in those communities."
"People are interested in solutions, the question will be, 'Are they courageous enough to implement them?'" DeRay Mckesson says. "People aren't going to leave the street anytime soon, so I hope that we have political leaders who are ready to meet the moment head-on."
