"MPs furious about forced return of 'physical voting' to Commons

Elderly members or those with health conditions fear they will be disenfranchised by the move, which ends remote participation"

While we're all distracted by Cummings, democracy is dying. theguardian.com/politics/2020/…
Only 50 MPs will be allowed in the chamber, and they'll have to queue all the way outside and around the Palace of Westminster when it comes to votes.

That mental image may be amusing for 30s, but behind it is a Parliament with no hope of holding the Government to account.
They really need to go the other way, and limit access to the HoC further to level the playing field for all MPs.

For example, only the following can be present:
- Leader of each major party
- 5 other front bench MPs from the Government and the Opposition
- 3 more MPs per party
Either that, or "do a Nightingale" and commandeer some huge venue to form a temporary Parliament large enough for all MPs to be present but socially distanced.
And why are they so mad keen on forcing MPs back NOW?
1) Cover for feeble Johnson at PMQs.
2) Tip the balance further on the upcoming vote on redrawing constituency boundaries ie gerrymandering.
