He's a brony.

Its the exact same site linked in the fimfiction blog

Do you feel like the fandom is more divided than ever? Like its tearing itself apart? Like its impossible to just enjoy the community without running into drama anymore?

If you're wondering these things, this thread is for you. I'm going to break things down and give my take.
For many years the pony fandom has been a decidedly neutral, "apolitical" one. Even with its origins on 4chan, there was a sort of innocence and naivete that pervaded the fandom, and even the internet as a whole. Hell, even the 4chan of 2010 hardly resembled the 4chan of today.
For a while there things held steady. Most bronies kept their political ideology out of the fandom. Even events like the Down with Molestia controversy and Derpygate didn't really change things (although it did instill an "anti-SJW" attitude in the fandom.

Today I learned one of my favorite pony artists in the fandom @hattpone is a virulent racist. He has some enlightening views about back people he shares in a Discord server he moderates.

This includes referring to black people as "monkeys" and of course, n*gger. 700 times.
@hattpone The server is called the Kool Kids Klub. Bonus points for correctly guessing what the acronym KKK is a play on.
@hattpone This isn't the only server he spreads his """"edgy"""" """"jokes""" around in. Yoditax's art server, The Unicorn Cove, has the same super fun posting pattern in it.

Hot take:

The real reason other zebras never appeared in My Little Pony is because Hasbro was so terrified of offending people they literally shot down any attempt to further explore them as a species.

The problem is they couldn't take back the original faux pas, Zecora.
You see in its early seasons MLP had a few racial stereotypes that don't really survive scrutiny today. The show has been on for almost a decade! 2010-2012 was a really different time.

Remember these?
Thats not to say that you can't do positive things with stereotypes (Bridle Gossip is an excellent example), but as the years went by it became clear the writers had no interest in further drawing from that well.

And as the years went by attitudes towards stereotypes changed.
