The JLM, a group whose submission to the EHRC was packed with falsehoods, gross misrepresentations and trivialities, is naturally keen to excuse its refusal to investigate the virulent, systematic racism of the Conservative Party. 1/
The JLM's submission even claimed it was a case of antisemitic "victimisation" when Ian Austin received a mild disciplinary slap on the wrist for screaming abuse at a fellow Labour MP. (Austin didn't mention antisemitism while he was screaming at Ian Lavery.) 2/
The JLM leadership often claimed it was "antisemitic" to describe their organization as a pro-Israel campaigning group. Then they co-hosted a leadership hustings with Labour Friends of Israel, where the moderator Robert Peston demanded that the candidates endorse the Nakba. 3/
3 false claims about Corbyn in a row here: he didn't lay a wreath for Abu Iyad; the killers of the Israeli athletes are buried in Libya, not Tunisia; he said nothing about "Zionists" as a general group (he addressed a small group of disruptive yobs who were indeed Zionists). 4/
Two more choice examples of the JLM's methodology here: it's "antisemitic" to question the alleged "whistleblowers" in the Panorama frame-up; it's "antisemitic" to point out the egregious hypocrisy of the people who signed that open letter urging people not to vote for Labour. 5/
The fact that a majority of Labour members believe something which is unquestionably true and can be backed up with voluminous evidence is, for the JLM, just another example of "Labour antisemitism". If you deny the charges against you, that's proof of your guilt: what a joke. 6/
Researchers asked people to estimate how many Labour members were disciplined for antisemitism: the average estimate was one-third, about a hundred times greater than the real figure, but very much in line with the impression given by media coverage. 7/

*Of course* the prevalence of antisemitism in the Labour Party was grossly exaggerated by bad-faith actors (the anti-Corbyn Labour right, the Tories, their media allies, with the assistance of groups like the JLM). Anyone who denies this is either misinformed or dishonest. 8/
Jeremy Corbyn is a decent, principled man, who worked tirelessly to make Britain and the world a better place, against tremendous odds. The JLM leadership aren't fit to tie his shoelaces, and the truth will out, even if the Tory mudguards at the EHRC try to bury it. 9/
